How did I get here?

My passion for organization began early, inspired by a mother who believed everything should have a place—and a label. That mindset carried into every part of my life and became even more important when I became a single mother, creating a structured home that supported independence and ease.

After 25 years as an Occupational Therapist, I discovered my natural talent for organizing while downsizing multiple family homes. Encouraged by others, I pursued professional training and launched my Home Organizing business, helping individuals create functional, aesthetically pleasing, calming manageable spaces.

In 2022, while organizing my own family’s photo collection, I reconnected with a lifelong passion for preserving memories. As my family’s unofficial historian, I had spent years creating scrapbooks, photo books, and video tributes.

After attending a webinar on photo preservation hosted by The Photo Managers, I recognized an opportunity to combine my organizational expertise with my love for memory keeping. In 2023, I officially rebranded my business as Coastal Photo Organization, shifting my primary focus to Photo Organizing, Preservation and Sharing.
